1. Checkmate
- Annie, Kate, Candice, Jean, Telmo and a new guy named Vic join Runners Guild.

Pavo is a southern constellation introduced in the late 16th century by Dutch navigators Pieter Dirkszoon Keyser and Frederick de Houtman. Its name means “the peacock,” a bird often associated with beauty and pride in later symbolism. In astronomy, Pavo contains several bright stars and notable deep-sky objects, including the globular cluster NGC 6752, one of the brightest in the sky.
- A super quest is given to everyone in the guild, containing daily missions that would be given throughout a few months and encompassing most of Zetania area-wise.
- Teams of six are formed.
- Xecmat Team is formed with Ed, Marie, Annie, Telmo and two other members.
- Jake teams up with Ana and four other members.
- Syrox, Bella, and Kate team up with three other members.
- Candice, Jean, and Vic team up with three other members.
2. Crushing
- Ed tells Marie that he believes Ana might be powered by Aether Energy, which might explain why she doesn’t remember anything, why she doesn’t cast abilities, nor why she doesn’t harness Nyx Energy, even if her Nyx Cell makes it look like Water Energy; and because Null Corp. wanted to capture her to take over the System and wasn’t able to corrupt her.
- Ed thinks Ana is pure and incorruptible, just like Aether.
- Marie doesn’t buy it.
- Kim is introduced as a seemingly weak Miner.
Kim

In Greek mythology, Perseus is a hero best known for slaying the Gorgon Medusa and rescuing Andromeda from a sea monster. Perseus is a northern constellation representing the hero, notable for containing the famous Perseus Double Cluster and the radiant of the Perseids meteor shower.
Leo Minor
Leo Minor is a faint northern constellation introduced in the 17th century by Johannes Hevelius. Its name means “the lesser lion,” and it was created to fill a previously unassigned region of the sky between Leo and Ursa Major. Unlike Leo, it has no strong mythological associations. In astronomy, Leo Minor contains mostly dim stars arranged in a subtle pattern, with no particularly bright standout stars.
- Candice gets a crush on Vic and wants Marie to help her get him.
- Kate isn’t a fan of Marie.
3. Bayle
- Annie reveals her pet - a friendly Nyx Soldier Bug named Bayle that freaks everyone out.
- Bayle is defective so he’s harmless.
4—12
- Ed’s team mocks him for his reactions when he sees Ana.
- Marie doesn’t find it as funny as she might have a crush on Ed.
- Marie tries to flirt with Vic to deflect suspicions.
- Candice thinks Marie is interested in Vic, so she gets mad at her.
- Candice and Kate convince Bella, Jean, Vic, and others to turn against Marie as well.
- Jeco and Masi seem to have been nullified, and they start haunting Ed, motivated by their humiliation during the Creek Tournament.
Jeco

- Ana also seems to be a target, but she’s defended by Ed, and so is Kim who gets bullied.
- Jake finds out about Ed’s crush on Ana.
13—19
- Masi and Jeco try to nullify Annie’s Bayle, but he’s too stupid to be corrupted. Also, Bayle seems to be immune to Null Energy.
- Ed, Jake and Rui try to snap Jeco and Masi out of their Null Energy.
- Jake’s fire eventually makes to save Masi, and it seems to be because of his original Fire Energy.
- Although Jeco had originally Water Energy, there doesn’t seem to be a way to save him.
- Rui has a duel with Jeco and, as Rui’s eyes start glowing, and so do his arrows that also seem to act strangely, Jeco is snapped out of his Null Energy.
- No one knows how Rui managed to do it.
- Jeco and Masi finally get some humbleness.
- Marie apologizes to Candice and reveals everything to her.
- Marie and Candice make peace to each other.
- Jake isn’t happy with how the whole Null situation was handled and the damage it caused, mainly because Ana was put in danger.
- Jake meets up with Lupus saying he wants to join him.
- Lupus doesn’t buy it, but he tries to corrupt Jake anyway, as even if he didn’t want it, he forcedly would after getting corrupted.
- Lupus talks to Jake about the Terminal and some secrets regarding the whole System.
Lupus
- Ed and Ana are two special users of the System - two ends of the System’s subnet spectrum.
- But they’re just two examples of the System’s flaws, so their corruption would unveil the true potential of Null Energy.
- But they’re not the only ones. That’s not what makes them special.
- They have a connection that transcends the whole System. And that terrifies you, doesn’t it?
- Jake is not a fan of Lupus’s revelations.
20. Boötes Void
- Jake’s anger outweighs Null Energy, so he doesn’t get corrupted, making Lupus furious. Instead, his Fire Energy gets hotter than ever, setting everything ablaze.
- Jake never wanted to get corrupted; he just wanted to prove he could overpower Null Energy and take it down.
- Jake destroys Null Corp.’s facility.
21—23
- Runner Guild is attacked by Null Bugs, and Jake shows up to burn them down
- Jake unleashes a lion transforming ability, and he loses control, wreaking havoc and burning more than he should, setting the guild’s camp on fire and hurting lots of people, injuring Bella, Candice, Jean, Vic, Kim, XecMat members (except Ed, Marie and Annie), and others.
- Jake kills Bayle.
24. Burnout
- Ed steps in to stop Jake.
- Ed and Jake face off in brutal duel, out of the Sandbox.
- The duel stops as soon as Jake notices the damage he has caused.
- Jake is banished from the Runners Guild by Prof. Sergio.
- Jake leaves the group.
- Ed finds a note left by Jake.
Jake
- Ana is Null Corp.’s priority target. Don’t let them take her.
- Reach Zetania’s main control center.
- Find the Terminal.
- Annie says that she’ll find Jake and get her revenge, leaving the guild as well. Bella, Candice, Jean, Vic, Telmo and Kim also quit the guild.
