Project Infinix
XXI — Gamma 1.0
1. Fallout
- Earth becomes a wasteland under a nuclear winter, and it’s infested with hostile Nyx Bugs, which are overwhelming rural and remote areas.
- People concentrate in cities for safety which are getting overcrowded.
- The rifts are getting more prominent.
- Dreamers form resistance groups, and they’re mostly refugees, but they still paint their brand and motto on the walls.
- They despise Ana, Lisa and pretty much all of GCC.
2—11
- Lisa remembers Ed telling her about Alpha Ed’s experiments with rifts through radio, so she’s accompanied by some GCC members to the core of the largest radio telescope array on Earth - SKA-Mid Site, Northern Cape, South Africa.
- GCC members, including Lisa and Maggie but excluding Ana, enter the facility, featuring Infinix’ Gamma data center, a huge underground facility with lots of scientists and other working personnel.
- Scientists guarantee that the rifts are not from Infinix and they have no relation to it whatsoever.
- The parabolic antennas were shut down because of an energy overload caused by the now closed Dimensional Breach where Nyx entities were emerging from.
- Scientists turn the antennas back on, and Bugs start showing up.
- Those inside don’t understand why Bugs are teleporting in if the Breach is closed.
- It seems that some Nyx entities were coming, not from Infinix, whose connection was closed, but from a buffer in the fourth spatial dimension.
- During the Breach, entities were teleporting to mostly near antennas, as that’s where connections from Infinix were reaching mostly, and some entities were sent to the facility’s antennas; but because they became offline, entities were stored in buffer waiting to be released.
- It seems this was also happening in other parts of the world.
- Everyone in the facility gets locked in and trapped after lots of Bugs getting in and destroying everything.
- Those inside are waiting for someone to rescue them.
- Military personnel enter the facility, and the people inside think they’re about to be rescued, but it seems that soldiers were actually tasked with cleaning up the mess, shooting everyone on site, Bug or human.
- The buffer is eventually cleared all over the world.
- Lisa, Maggie and some other members manage to escape as Jeco shows up to rescue them.
- Jeco tells GCC that they and almost everyone connected to Project Infinix around the world are targeted by Black Ops who want the project to be wiped out, along with everyone involved with all its branches.
Jeco
- Whether you like it or not, we have a common enemy.
- He also says they Syrox, Isaac, and Johnny are infiltrated in one of their facilities.
- GCC wants to recover Ed’s sword.
- Lisa and Maggie infiltrate in a military facility in the desert guarding Ed’s sword.
- They find Luna chained in a room scared of the scientists around her, but Lisa and Maggie can’t do anything.
- They manage to steal the sword.
- Lisa manages to summon Luna with the sword, rescuing her.
12. Zero-Trust
- Luna seems to be aggressive towards GCC members as she doesn’t trust humans, but she’s fond of Lisa’s dogs, and the Small Dog even tries to play with her.
- Luna is especially hostile towards Ana due to their deadly battle that killed Ed.
- Lisa is tasked with taming Luna.
13. Chasing Dragons
- Lisa and Luna don’t seem to be very fond of each other.
- Luna is afraid of humans, and Lisa is still afraid of Bugs.
14—23
- Lisa kills a Black Ops agent in front of his daughter - Kali.
- Kali wants to avenge her father and starts looking for Lisa.
- Luna is captured by Black Ops.
- Lisa sees herself in Luna who’s being a target of experiments, and she looks terrified because of it.
24. Under the Same Moon
- Luna is almost killed but she’s rescued by Lisa.
- Luna misses Ed.
- Lisa tells Luna, still vulnerable and afraid, that she knows what’s she’s been through, in a scene where both silhouettes are seen laying heads in the Full Moon’s background.
- Luna finally befriends Lisa.
